The Greek law protected LGB people from discrimination since 2016, but in September 2017, the law was emended and started covering transgender people. The same-sex marriage law, passed in February 15th, 2024 also reinforced it.

To change one's legal gender in Greece, the legal requirement is only a court order. Non-binary people are to choose male or female. Forced divorce was also required if the person was married, before same-sex marriage was legal in Greece.

After Supreme Federal Court recognition, LGBT people can serve openly in military in Brazil. People who are legally male at the age of 18 are obligated to serve, including trans men who have transitioned or trans women who haven't changed their legal gender yet. The latter can be dispensed once the change is made.
