Accept was the first Romanian LGBTIQ+ association. The organisation focuses on promoting the recognition and legal protection of same-sex families, achieving a dignified procedure for legal gender recognition for transgender people, providing legal assistance to LGBTQIA+ people in cases of discrimination and hate crimes, strengthening and developing LGBTQIA+ support groups, and promoting cultural and social activities that promote inclusion.
