Article 8.1 (Special categories of personal data) on Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Personal Information" (2008), states:

"The collection, accumulation, storage and use of personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, nationality, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or concerning health status and sexual inclinations, solely for the purpose of revealing these factors, are not permitted." (2017 Amendment)
