  • Other "The state of Ohio, while compliant with the Supreme court, effectively denies marriage by denying protections to gay couple. No financial aide is available for legal matters involving marriage, Married couples are not allowed to adopt, Durable power of attorney for medical purposes is not assumed, and any violations of a married couples rights that would normally be proactively handled by the State are ignored unless forced to do otherwise. Reason for this is Ohio's Amendment barring marriage still stands and provides the ground work for the being allowed to ignore the enforcement of gay couple marriage rights. "
