| Description | SB 254, a bill which heavily restricts gender-affirming care became law again, after a new ruling from the 11th Court of appeals stated that the law was constitutional. Since April 2026, Ambetter Insurance, owned by the largest provider of Medicare and Medicaid insurances in the nation, has stopped covering hormones and other transition medicine for trans adults.
