DescriptionOn 30th December 2025, Kazakhstan’s president signed a law prohibiting LGBT and pedophilia propaganda in the media, telecommunication networks, and online platforms. The law came into force in 2026.

According to a statement on the official website of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, these norms are also included in legal restrictions on the distribution of illegal content, but it did not specify when the law comes into force.
