DescriptionIn Denmark, The Danish Parliament passed amendments to the Gender Equality Act and the Anti-Discrimination Act. These laws explicitly prohibit discrimination based on gender identity, gender expression, and gender characteristics both inside and outside the workplace so denying a transgender person entry to a public restroom or facility matching their gender identity constitutes illegal discrimination. Victims can file civil complaints directly with the Danish Board of Equal Treatment (Ligebehandlingsnævnet).
