DescriptionUnder West Virginia law (Senate Bill 456), single-sex spaces are restricted based on a person's sex assigned at birth. This restriction applies to: K-12 public schools and higher education institutions, State and local government-owned buildings, Correctional and juvenile detention facilities, State-funded domestic violence shelters.
