Description | In 2006, Amazonas passed Law 3079 which prohibits the manufacturing, selling, distribution or dissemination of symbols, emblems, ornaments, badges or advertising that incite or induce discrimination, prejudice, hatred or violence on the basis of both sexual orientation and gender identity. However, no other hate crime protections existed until 2019. |
