DescriptionIn Baja California, there were no laws restricting the discussion or promotion of LGBTQ+ topics on the state level since the removal of homosexuality as a "corrupt habit" in its corruption of minors law. However, in 2002, the municipality of Tecate had explicitly criminalised cross-dressing, inhibiting the public expression of transgender women. This provision was removed in 2010.
