In 2023, AmericasBarometer surveyed people in North and South America about a range of topics, including support for equal rights for gender minorities. Participants were asked to rank their answer on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being "strongly disapprove" and 10 being "strongly approve." Equaldex uses AmericasBarometer's methodology of categorizing 8-10 as "approve."
