Vocal Organization for International Courage & Equality (V.O.I.C.E.)

The Vocal Organization for International Courage & Equality (V.O.I.C.E.) was established in 2013 as a result of the overwhelming support of our visual equality campaign, “So Gay So What.”. The incredible support we received lead us to form V.O.I.C.E. to protect, promote, and expand the rights of LGBT people, focusing mainly on international law & policy and the ways in which the LGBT community in America can reach out to other LGBT people who live abroad internationally to give them the tools necessary to garner and protect their basic human rights, most notably in countries like Russia, Nigeria, Jamaica and Uganda, where it is considered a crime to be LGBT.

It's essential that we advocate for the rights of our LGBT brothers and sisters living abroad. We will focus on domestic issues in addition to international issues. Our organization strongly believes that we should all start locally and think globally.
